These were perfect for adding the right amount of privacy without blocking too much sun and the view. I can't speak to the water resistance or durability but so far I'm very pleased.

I use this on my balcony at my apartment. From downstairs you can still kinda see me but you can’t see very clearly unless you’re being very weird and obvious about it. Also allows me to open my door without worrying about bugs coming in(I don’t have a screen door)

The reviews said these were very sheer. I should have listened. I wanted to cut the glare of the setting sun and provide some distraction from the neighbors dogs. These were too sheer for either.

I bought these for my gazebo for privacy from my neighbors. They are so sheer I went ahead and bought blackout outdoor curtains to go along with these for actual privacy. If your buying this just for looks then this would be prefect because these curtains really soften up the space. They are waterproof. When it has rained it keeps the rain.
